about the artist

Stewart is a tad colour blind and has a tendency to exaggerate which gives his pictures an unusual feel!

Comments overheard on his work include:
"My 4 year old could do better than that!"
"Nice trees and stuff!"
"Is that the right way up Doris?"

and quite simply "Why?"

Despite this Stewart's work has been featured in Picture Business Magazine and Resurgence Magazine and has attracted both private and corporate buyers. Stewart has been a finalist in the Leicester Artisan Artwork Competition, part of the original 'WindowsOn' Exhibition and selected for the Open 29 regional art exhibition at Leicester's New Walk Museum and Art Gallery. This year his work has also been selected for the Sock Gallery Summer Open in Loughborough Town Hall. With his writing partner Gary Place, he has twice taken part in the Loogabarooga children's illustration festival.
